WELLNESS In-Services

Experience practical tools for resilience, well-being, and sustainable work.

The Wellness Compass Initiative offers engaging, experiential in-services grounded in the principles of compassion, resilience, and whole-person wellness. Designed for staff teams, leadership groups, boards, and community organizations, these sessions provide practical strategies participants can begin applying immediately in both their personal and professional lives.

In-services can be offered in person within two hours of Madison, WI, or in a virtual/hybrid format for more distance locations. For the latter, the team gathers in person and we lead the in-service virtually with lots of time for group interaction and conversation.

What Is a Wellness In-Service?

A Wellness In-Service is a one- to two-hour presentation or workshop designed to support the well-being of the people who serve others.

Ideal for staff development days, leadership retreats, board meetings, and professional development events, these sessions introduce participants to the Wellness Compass Model of Well-Being and the foundational concepts of compassion resilience.

Participants are invited to explore the realities of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue while gaining practical tools that support stronger resilience and greater awareness of their own well-being.

Whether participants are educators, healthcare professionals, mental health providers, nonprofit staff, religious leaders, community leaders, or “helpers” of any kind, each session is designed to encourage reflection, conversation, and meaningful learning.

A RESILIENT TEAM STARTS WITH RESILIENT PEOPLE

When organizations invest in resilience and well-being, they invest in the people who make their mission possible.

Participants leave Resilience In-Services with a deeper understanding of well-being, increased awareness of their own needs and strengths, and practical strategies for sustaining resilience in the important work they do every day.

A Compassion Resilience In-Service can be a powerful first step toward creating a healthier, more resilient workplace culture.
