What Is a Wellness In-Service?

A Wellness In-Service is a one- to two-hour presentation or workshop designed to support the well-being of the people who serve others.

Ideal for staff development days, leadership retreats, board meetings, and professional development events, these sessions introduce participants to the Wellness Compass Model of Well-Being and the foundational concepts of compassion resilience.

Participants are invited to explore the realities of stress, burnout, and helping fatigue while gaining practical tools that support healthier habits, stronger resilience, and greater awareness of their own well-being.

Whether participants are educators, healthcare professionals, nonprofit staff, clergy, or community leaders, each session is designed to encourage reflection, conversation, and meaningful learning.

A Healthier Team Starts with Healthier People

When organizations invest in wellness, they invest in the people who make their mission possible.

Participants leave Wellness In-Services with a deeper understanding of well-being, increased awareness of their own needs and strengths, and practical strategies for sustaining themselves in the important work they do every day.

A Wellness In-Service can be a powerful first step toward creating a healthier, more resilient workplace culture.
